As Salesforce implementers, we customize software to maximally suit our clients’ needs, while offering continued support to the adaptable designs we create. Our clients and projects range from local municipalities’ web design to building custom ERP solutions–all executed from our bright office overlooking the St. Croix River.

Position Summary

We are looking for an innovative and dedicated Technology Solutions Designer in a full-time and permanent capacity. This position will include collaborative and multi-department work and the successful candidate will possess relevant experience demonstrative of being a multi-skilled and adaptive contributor in past working environments. With the direction of the Lead Designer and Project Manager, the Technology Solutions Designer will be a key member of our team of designers, developers, and business and quality assurance analysts.

Responsibilities

Salesforce Development, including:

  • Software analysis, design and development of Salesforce customizations
  • Salesforce DX (sfdx cli)
  • Visual Studio Code (with Salesforce Extensions)
  • Salesforce sandboxes and changesets
  • Salesforce Lightning Aura components and Salesforce Lightning Web components (lwc): HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Coding in the Apex Programming Language
  • git/GitHub/GitKraken for source control

Salesforce Administration, including:

  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, and other Salesforce objects and features including Lightning apps and pages.
  • Handle ongoing customization/alteration of various Salesforce instances.
  • Maintain, enhance and create workflow rules, flows, processes, functions and configurations within the Salesforce environment.
  • Assist with user licensing assignments, permissions, profiles, roles and other security/visibility concerns in Salesforce environments.
  • Collaborate with other team members to design and implement features.

Salesforce Quality Assurance, including:

  • Create end-user test scripts in accordance with the client’s QA testing process.
  • Execute end-user tests scripts and document/report any bugs found.
  • Retesting and full regression testing as required.

Web Development, including::

  • PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript coding for the WordPress Content management system environment
  • Coding of WordPress hooks, filters and actions
  • Full WordPress plugin and/or theme development

Technical Documentation, including:

  • High-level and detailed design documents, in accordance with the client’s design document templates.
  • Documentation that guides end-users in the use of software features
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3 years’ relevant experience
  • Coding language proficiency would be considered an asset
  • Critical & Abstract Thinking
    • A strong capability to combine practical thinking, organizational knowledge, and creativity to innovatively solve new challenges as they arise.
    • A practiced ability to discern when to take initiative and when to consult with team members.
  • Strong Communication Skills (both written and spoken) with precision and attention to the details.
  • Ability to build proficiency with our internal systems
    • Navigating and updating our internal management system (Asana)
    • Tracking billable time (Harvest)
    • Excellent navigation and manipulation skills in Google Workspace
  • Perpetual Learner
    • Each client’s platform and needs are unique, which requires a keen ability to continue to learn new systems and processes.
    • Maintaining a keen interest and awareness of technology trends.

Salary

$30,000 – $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
